Scott Roeder is going to Jail
allthingsalishan:
For a long time.
It took the jury 37 minutes to convict him of first degree murder.
That’s less time than it takes me to decide where to go to lunch.
I think I have a little more faith in humanity now.

“An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national...

Inspiration
My 86yr old Grandma, who we affectionately call Willie (her name is Wilma, get your minds out of the gutter please) has decided this week that she wants to buy a Mac book, organise an email account, and surf the web.

Just another reason to add to my rather long list of why she is my inspiration.
It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balance news.

I’m starting a new blog segment. Every Monday, I will tell you something factual about myself. Sometimes it will be something big, huge and amazing and sometimes it will be something small. But it will always be factual and delightful in its own special way.
Today’s Factual Monday (warning, this one is gross and about poop):
In 2007, I started off the New Year...
I have 3 minutes to tell you this.

My water broke an hour and a half ago.
My contractions are getting pretty intense.
I can’t stop bursting into tears. not from pain - just from pure joy.
This is really happening, isn’t it?
Please pray for us. Send courage and strength and healthy healthy baby vibes.
She’s on her way and I can hardly wait.
Love,
M
